The ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri met with the Honourable Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tأ¼rkiye H.E. Mr. Mevlأ¼t أ‡avuإںoؤںlu. The bilateral interaction was arranged on the sidelines of 26th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers (COM) held on January 24, 2023. The discussions during the meeting highlighted regional cooperation, focusing on ECO and its activities in various development sectors, particularly trade and connectivity, as well as ECO inter-regional and global relations in special reference to the Organization’s refueled approach for enhancing its visibility across the globe.
Thanking Ambassador Noziri for facilitating the successful organization of the 26th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers in Tashkent, the Honourable Minister reiterated Türkiye’s relentless support to the Organization. He noted that accelerated efforts with increased coordination amongst the Member States are required to make the region more integrated and interlinked.
The ECO Secretary General extended sincere gratitude to Excellency Minister Çavuإںoؤںlu for his participation in the 26th COM Meeting. He assured that the ECO Secretariat would continue to pursue its agenda for maximum regional development based on the continued support and cooperation of all Member States.
