On the sidelines of the 17th ECO Summit, ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan met with the Honorable President of the Turkish Cypriot State, H.E. Mr. Ersin Tatar, in Shusha, Azerbaijan.
The honorable President noted the Turkish Cypriot State’s desire to more closely engage with ECO for strengthening regional cooperation in mutually desired sectors.
Secretary General Dr. Khan thanked the President for their active participation and contributions to ECO events and activities over the past years. He further expressed that tourism and education may be the two most relevant fields where the Turkish Cypriot State can make substantial contributions to the ECO cooperation framework.
