Secretary General Asad M. Khan met with the honorable Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov during his visit to Tashkent as an international observer of the Parliamentary Elections, on October 27, 2024.
The meeting focused on the implementation of H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoev’s proposals for the advancement of the Organization’s initiatives, and the schedule of important upcoming ECO events. They agreed on ECO’s potential as a catalyst of economic integration in the region, as well as on the need to develop practical instruments of efficient cooperation.
