In the framework of the celebrations of the ECO Tourism Capital Shahrisabz, ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Umid Shadiev and the Governor of Shahrisabz Mr. Sherzod Boriyev met with the members of the Uzbek and international media at a press conference held in Shahrisabz, Uzbekistan, on April 25, 2024.
The conference informed the media on the efforts for the development of tourism in the ECO region, with a special focus on Shahrisabz, which was titled as the ECO Tourism Capital of 2024, as well as on the celebration events to be organised in this framework.
Secretary General Noziri also interviewed journalists from Uzbekistan and other ECO Member States, and briefed on the concept of ECO Tourism Capital.
