On the sidelines of his participation in the 77th UNGA Session at New York, the ECO Secretary General, H.E. Ambassador Khusrav Noziri was interviewed by International Media Representatives.
Being interviewed on September 23, the Secretary General underscored the importance of ECO and its cooperative agenda which is based on the principles of shared progress and prosperity of the Member States. He underlined that the Organization is determinedly focused and working for enhancing regional connectivity in the pursuit of its central resolve to accelerate the joint socioeconomic development in the region. To this end, he mentioned that the core areas of ECO activities, include, inter alia, trade, transport, energy and tourism.
