On the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Ambassador Mr. Khusrav Noziri participated in Conference on “Current State and Prospects of Development of Tajik-Iranian Relations”, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, held on January 10, 2022.
While addressing the Conference ECO Secretary General extended heartfelt felicitations to the governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic Tajikistan on this historic moment and expressed that ECO attaches highest respect to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Tajikistan`s significant role in the Organization for enhancing regional cooperation in the various fields, as well as realization of goals and objectives of ECO.
In conclusion, Ambassador Noziri expressed confidence that the support of the two countries will continue in order to secure the interest of the Member States of the Organization as well as accomplishment of economic and sustainable development in the region.
