The 2nd Meeting of the ECO Tour Operators Network was held virtually on April 12, 2023.
The meeting, inter alia, reviewed proposals for early operationalization of ECO Tour Operators Network, improvement in communication amongst the tour operations, promotion of their products and packages, travel visa facilitation, etc. Moreover, the discussants looked into the possibility of holding their monthly sessions with a view to consolidating their nexus and cooperation.
Inaugurated by ECO Director for Tourism Mr. Mr. Jasur Rajabov, the meeting acknowledged the importance of ECO Tour Operator Network that, it considered, would create conducive environments to help promote tourism activities in the region.
With participation of freshly nominated operators from Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, the total members of the network now stand at around 350.
