On 16 February 2022 by the invitation of UNIDO, Directorate of Energy, Minerals and Environment (EME) from the ECO Secretariat has participated the Online Workshop on Industrial Energy Efficiency Kits.
Workshop was organized by the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centers (GN-SEC) with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Recently established Clean Energy Center of ECO is the part of GN-SEC.

Mr. Rovshan Mirzayev, the Director of EME and Mr.Mamatmusa Ukubaev, the program officer of EME took part at the event and made necessary interventions to address needs and interests of ECO region in the issues of energy efficiency.
As a result of discussions, the Secretariat and GN-SEC has agreed to follow up possibility of cooperation in energy efficiency, particularly on project development and capacity building for ECO region.
