Head of the United Nation Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) Liaison Office in Tehran Mr. Bojidar Dimitrov payed a courtesy visit to the ECO Secretariat to meet with the ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad M. Khan.
The meeting discussed recent developments in the region with a focus on Afghanistan, which is an important ECO member. Particularly, the current situation in Afghanistan, as well as prospects for future economic cooperation with the country were discussed during the interaction.
Thanking Mr. Dimitrov for the visit, the Secretary General expressed ECO’s commitment to fostering economic collaboration and strengthening international partnerships.
