Kish Island, Iran – 14 May 2025

The second day of the Regional Tourism Market Symposium continues to foster regional collaboration among tourism stakeholders from ECO Member States. The second day’s agenda featured a series of specialized workshops and business-to-business (B2B) meetings aimed at enhancing partnerships and sharing best practices in the tourism sector.
Participants engaged in informative sessions led by experts on global trends in hotel and hospitality management, sustainability in gastronomy, tourism education systems and standards, as well as creativity and digitalization in tourism.
In addition to the educational components, the symposium facilitated B2B meetings where representatives from travel agencies and hotel management companies convened to explore potential collaborations, particularly focusing on opportunities among ECO countries. The ECO Secretariat actively participated in the symposium’s activities, engaging with private sector representatives to discuss proposals and address challenges pertinent to tourism development in the region.
