The Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, H.E. Ambassador Khusrav NOZIRI, met with the new President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), H.E. Mr. Murodjon Buriboev, on May 31, 2022 at the ECO Secretariat.
During the meeting, while congratulating the new ECI President on his appointment, the ECO Secretary General assured him full support to accelerating the cultural growth and activities in the region. Ambassador Khusrav NOZIRI informed the ECI President that the ECO Secretariat is in a process of developing a new coordination mechanism between the ECO Secretariat and the specialized agencies including the ECI in order to further facilitate the specialized agencies in achieving their respective socio-economic objectives.
Mr. Murodjon Buriboev thanked the ECO Secretary General for providing support of the Secretariat in the activities of the Cultural Institute and assured the Secretary General of ECI’s commitment to promote cooperation in broadening the scope of cultural projects in the region.
