On March 16, 2023, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Country’s Permanent Representative to ECO, H.E. Professor Hicabi Kırlangıç visited the Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to present his letter of credence to the ECO Secretary General, Ambassador Khusrav Noziri.
Welcoming the Ambassador, the ECO Secretary General congratulated and wished him the best for his new assignment and responsibilities. Moreover, he briefed the visiting dignitary about the ECO agenda and activities as well as governing structure of the Organization.
Ambassador Kırlangıç thanked the ECO Secretary General, assuring him of his complete cooperation and support to facilitate the Secretariat in its efforts for maximum collaboration amongst the Member States to ensure greater economic integration in the region.
