Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov and ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri held a press conference following the 27th Council of Ministers Meeting held in Shusha, on October 10, 2023.
H.E. Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov in his remarks, expressed thanks to the participating Ministers and ECO Secretariat for the successful conclusion of the meeting. He underlined that Azerbaijan attaches utmost importance to ECO and regional cooperation, as well as to peace and stability in the region. Also outlining some achievements during Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Organization, he underscored that they will continue to support the activities of the ECO which aims at increasing cooperation and well-being in ECO region.
ECO Secretary General, while expressing gratitude to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the excellent organization of the event and their warm hospitality to the delegations of Member States, summarized the points that were agreed upon by the Council of Ministers and set out in the Shusha Declaration. He further briefed the media on ECO and the scope of its activities.
