Dr. Asad M. Khan met H.E. Mr. Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the 28th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers.
The discussions highlighted Kazakhstan’s priorities for its ECO chairmanship in 2025, emphasizing its dedication to regional transport and connectivity. Dr. Khan invited Kazakhstan to host several long-awaited ministerial meetings and stressed the importance of upcoming high-level events under the ECO framework, encouraging Kazakhstan’s active participation and meaningful contributions to these initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advancing ECO’s objectives and strengthening regional cooperation under Kazakhstan’s leadership next year.
