On 3 August 2022, H.E. Dr. Syed Komail Tayebi, President of the ECO-Science Foundation (ECOSF) was received by H.E. Amb. Khusrav Noziri, Secretary General Economic Cooperation Organisation at the ECO Secretariat.
ECO Secretary General briefed the President about the specialised and subsidiary organs of the ECO. The meeting also touched upon the importance of the mandate of ECO-Science Foundation and the role it can play in the well-being of the region. Furthermore, the financial issues confronting ECO-Science Foundation also came under limelight.
The President of the ECO-Science Foundation hoped to enhance the sphere of cooperative relationship with various regional and international institututes of its kind. Moreover, in order to make Science Foundation more vibrant and dynamic, he hoped to put efforts for the expansion of the membership of the ECOSF.
ECO Secretary General extended felicitations and hoped that the Presidency of Dr. Syed Komail Tayebi would usher in an era of progressive developments in the field of science and technology.
