The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Iran H.E. Mr. Wishwanath Aponsu visited the ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri on November 26, 2023.
Welcoming the dignitary, Ambassador Noziri briefed him about ECO and the Organization’s agenda of promoting regional economic cooperation.
Given the importance of economic globalization and within the scope of broader cross-cultural activities, the two sides desired their collaboration in various important areas, including mutual trade, cultural and scientific cooperation. They agreed to make regular interactions for devising a joint mechanism in this regard.
