The 227th Council of Permanent Representatives

The 227^th Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR) Meeting was held on Wednesday 14^th February 2018 at the International Convention Centre of Kish Island, Islamic Republic of Iran. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Khan Durrani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iran. It was attended by the Permanent Representatives/Representatives of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Turkey, Turkmenistan and Republic of Uzbekistan. The ECO Secretary General along with concerned officials of the Secretariat also attended the Meeting.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Saeedi, Deputy Director for Economic and Investment Affairs of Kish Free Zone Organization attended the Inaugural ceremony of the Meeting and made welcoming remarks. H.E. Mr. Halil Ibrahim Akca, ECO Secretary General also made a statement.

The Meeting discussed the issues related to holding of 23^rd Council of Ministers on 17 April 2018 in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, as well as other important issue. The CPR Meeting was organized in an excellent level and it was very constructive.
