On June 3, 2019 The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Economic Cooperation Organization Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi presented his credentials to the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Mr. Hadi Soleimanpour.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and ECO and strengthening the organization’s activities in various fields during the Tajikistan Chairmanship.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of the ECO Vision – 2025 strategic document,ongoing reform process of the Organization, as well as the implementation of joint transport projects in the ECO countries.
The ECO Secretary General congratulated Ambassador Zohidi on the beginning of his activities as the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to ECO and wished him successful tenure in Tehran.
