An online workshop on Trade Related Statistics started its work on May 13, 2024 and will last until 16th May. The event has been organized by the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat) and the Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
The workshop aims at capacity building in statistics and consists of three parts: Introduction and International Trade in Services Statistics, International Trade in Goods Statistics and Tourism Statistics.
In his welcome remarks, Deputy Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Ambassador Jandos Asanov said that the national statistical agencies play an important role in achieving common goals and objectives in the ECO area and thanked Turkstat for professionally organizing the online workshop.
