A new board’s delegation of ECO Seed Association (ECOSA) led by the Deputy President of ECOSA, along with Secretary General and advisor visited the Economic Cooperation Organization Secretariat, Tehran on 08 January, 2020.
The delegation held meetings with H.E Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour, the Secretary General of the ECO and Dr. Sayed Yahya Akhlaqi, Deputy Secretary General. During the meetings, views were exchanged regarding ongoing projects of the ECOSA for the development of seed sector in ECO region. The Secretary General while acknowledging the efforts of ESCOSA for enhancing the seed trade among the ECO Member States appreciated the organization of 7th ECO Regional Seed Trade Congress during 2019 in Antalya.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the Secretary General and ECO Secretariat and hoped that the ECO would continue its support to ECOSA in future as well.
