On December 04, 2024, the Economic Cooperation Organization, in partnership with the Transportation Data Analytics Center of the Iran University of Science and Technology organized a virtual workshop titled “An Introduction to Applications of Modelling and Simulation Software in Transportation Management.”
Speaker of the workshop – Dr. Ali Naderan, Assistant Professor of Transportation Planning at the Science and Research Branch of the Islamic Azad University informed the session on academic and industry experiences.
The workshop shed light on the transformative role of modelling and simulation software in addressing modern transportation challenges. Participants had insights into innovative tools that enhance transportation network design, optimize decision-making, and support the development of resilient and sustainable systems.
The event underscored ECO’s commitment to fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange to address critical challenges in transportation management.
